Quantity Surveyor
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing tender documents, taking the lead in the tendering process including tender price estimation, tender bidding exercise, tender interview with follow-up
- Scrutinize contract documentation, handle subletting works and review subcontract documents, attend site meetings with contractors
- Prepare and review quantities taking off and measurement
- Perform payment application, valuation of variations, final account application, and settlement
- Negotiate with contractors for payment and contract terms
- Collaborate with internal operations to ensure accurate measurement of work completed and manage variations
- Prepare project revenue forecast, internal reports and recommendations
- Assist with handling contractual claims issues and dispute resolution
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
- Minimum of 5 years of construction management / site project experience
- Experience in measurement, valuing variations, cost control, contract administration, and claim preparation
- Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese.
- Excellent problem-solving, contractual, negotiation, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, and good time management, solid understanding of the construction and measurement processes
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- Understand and familiar with professional practice and contract administration processes
