Animal waste primarily originates from local farms. Baguio, as a government-appointed contractor for animal waste management, is responsible for the collection and processing of a variety of animal waste, includes chicken and pig manure. 

Baguio provides complimentary on-site animal waste collection services to farmers, supplying specialized bins designed to prevent leaks and control odors. This initiative facilitates a cleaner and more efficient collection and transportation process, maintaining environmental cleanliness and minimizing odor dispersion. Collection vehicles operate on a fixed schedule, regularly visiting each farm and racecourse to exchange full bins with empty ones, thus preventing the excessive accumulation of waste and mitigating potential sanitary and environmental risks.
