Construction Wastes
Construction waste primarily comes from building activities, which include but are not limited to site clearance, renovation, refurbishment, demolition, excavation, and road works. The waste generated from these activities, including the discarded concrete from off-site concrete batching plants and cement/sand mortar production facilities, needs to be properly handled. Inert materials (such as rubble, debris, soil, and concrete) can be reused directly on construction sites or used for projects such as land reclamation; non-inert demolition waste generally needs to be transported to landfill sites for disposal.
Baguio is a Qualified Construction Waste Collector registered with the Environmental Protection Department (EPD). We have the resources and capabilities to handle wastes generated from construction and demolition activities, ranging from small renovation works to major projects such as building sites and airport terminal improvements.
