Being a Leader: Our Sustainability Approach
Sustainability Governance
Our Sustainability Steering Committee is chaired by the Chief Executive Officer and comprises three Independent Non-Executive Directors (INEDs), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Head of Human Resources, and the Assistant Sustainability Manager, responsible for providing leadership on environmental objectives and monitor implementation progress. The Committee reports directly to the Board of Directors, enabling regular oversight of sustainability-related matters.
A Climate Committee, chaired by the Chief Executive Officer and comprising four Independent Non-Executive Directors (INEDs) and the COO, is also in place to enhance our capacity in tackling climate change and managing its impacts that give rise to both risks and opportunities for our integrated environmental services.
To execute Baguio's sustainable development strategy, the company has established an Environment, Social, and Governance Working Group. Its members include representatives from various business units and departments within Baguio, enabling them to communicate and drive relevant strategies within their respective units and departments to ensure the company's continual enhancement of sustainable development performance. In 2023, the Task Force introduced eight new proposals under four main themes. These themes were chosen due to their direct relevance to Baguio's business and sustainable development initiatives.
Climate Disclosure
In 2025, the Group further strengthened its understanding of climate-related matters through a structured review of climate-related risks and opportunities, supported by scenario analysis, financial impact assessment and internal stakeholder engagement. Details can be found in our Sustainability Report 2025 P.15-21.
